One of the goals of Northern Virginia Senior Resource Network is to provide support to non-profit, government and community initiatives that can benefit from free outreach and promotional support serving older adults in Northern Virginia that have limited resources.
![]() RAFT, The Regional Older Adults Facility Mental Health Support Team, is one of the programs of the Regional Projects Office in Northern Virginia. RAFT has been supporting older adults with mental illness and dementia for over 10 years, assisting older adults achieve and maintain successful community-based placements!

![]() Shepherd’s Centers of America promotes aging well in the community by providing lifelong learning, volunteer service, healthy living, and community engagement opportunities for older adults. There are currently 55 community-based Shepherd’s Centers in 17 states, including five in Northern Virginia

We are a non-profit organization that offers support along the slow road to better. Our members, our professionals, our volunteers, our coaches, and our families know that recovery continues forever.
